  • What is my puppy's journey like from birth to 8 weeks?

    • Dewormed at 2,4 and 6 weeks.

    • Vaccinated by our trusted vet to keep your little one happy and healthy.

    • Comprehensive examination by our vet of their eyes, heart, ears etc.

    • When weening them off of their mothers milk, we give them a nutrient dense diet of "Lifes Abundance".

    • They spend a lot of time with their litter mates, their mother, and our family until they join your family.

  • What is the difference between American Golden Retrievers and English Cream Golden Retrievers?

    • Their demeanor is very similar in that they are gentle, calm natured dogs who are loyal, loving and always happy to please their humans.

    • American Golden Retrievers tend to be a more leaner dog, as opposed to the English Crème Golden Retriever whose looks are composed of more blocky heads, and stockier/muscular composition.

    • English Crème Golden Retrievers have a white-light golden coat, whereas the American Golden Retrievers tend to have more reddish tones.

  • What are the health advantages of English Cream Golden Retrievers Vs. American Golden retrievers?

    • Hip dysplasia and Elbow dysplasia are much more common in American goldens than English crème goldens.

    • English Cream Golden Retrievers are less prone to cancer than American Golden Retrievers.

    • Median lifetime for American Golden Retrievers is 10 years, 8 months. Whereas the English Crème Golden Retrievers tend to live longer at 12 years, 3 months. Which means you will get to enjoy your new companion longer!

  • Do you ship your puppies?

    • Most of our puppies are adopted from homes in Colorado and surrounding states and we prefer not to ship but if needed we can ship via Delta Airlines, American and United Airlines. We have found that these particular airlines are best for puppies, as they are temperature controlled which means your puppy will be comfortable from the time of drop off to your arms!

  • What dog food do you recommend we feed our new little one?

    • Nutrition is very important to your puppies health. We have done our research and have found that "Life's Abundance" has superior quality, and is safe and effective for a dogs health. We have kept our dogs on this dog food since they were puppies and they have grown into strong adult dogs.

    • NuVet vitamins: We highly recommend! Extra nutrients are great in our book!

    • We have to attribute their passing all of their clearances to wonderful well rounded nutrition!
